2-2-2012.......

Nothing really exciting has been happening. I guess that's a good thing. :-) Gillian is having her first sleepover at a friends house this weekend. She's SUPER excited for that. Its all she's been asking about this week.

Grace is doing well also. She's her normal always into trouble self. All I have to say is WOW she's a handful!! You can't take your eyes off her for one minute or she's into something!

I got Gillian's pre-bill in the mail from st. Louis today. Her 4 day total is over 22,000 dollars. Almost 6,000 is the ambulance ride which I'm pretty sure will be a fight with the insurance. I'm so over insurance sometimes I wonder what the point of it is if you have to fight to get EVERYTHING paid for. It takes a toll on you. That bill doesn't include all the doctors and consults. So, as mentioned before please mark your calanders for March 11! We are going to need all the help we can get after this admission.

Save the day!

We have decided on a day for the fundraiser. It will be on Sunday March 11th! Its going to be in Maroa at the city hall gym on locust street. Save the date it will be lots of fun for the little ones!

Fundraiser!

We are in the process of getting a fundraiser up and going.  It's going to be a carnival!  We all decided something fun for the entire family would be fun.  Lots of games, snacks and prizes!  More details to come.  :-)

Back to school!

Gillian FINALLY went back to school today after missing 2 weeks. One at home and one in the hospital. I'm so happy she's feeling better. I hate that she had to miss so much school. I can help her with homework, but I'm no teacher. Especially when it comes to helping her with math. All we do is bump heads.
Grace is over her stomach bug too. It lasted an entire week. She was able to handle it it a little better than her sister. My guess is because she hasn't been transplanted yet and still has an immune system even though its still weakened. I'm just relieved she's back to her spunky 2 year old self! Now its back to the NO NO Gracie. LOL

Gillian and Grace 1/21/12

Wow I can't believe it's been 2 years since we have had a blog up and going.  In a way it's a good thing.  Meaning Gillian had her transplant and everything was going well.  Then little Grace came along with the same problem as Gillian and she will also need a kidney transplant.

Its nice to have a COTA blog up and going. Obviously the site is still under some "construction", but hopefully ready to go soon. I will be posting more once everything is together. Just wanted to Let everyone know the girls are doing well. Update on all of our recent adventures soon!
