Sorry for the lack of update. I can't believe its been a month since I've updated.

I will start with Grace. She just had a well child check up and is doing well! She is in the 10% area on weight and height. I won't complain about that Gillian was never on the chart.other than that not much to report on Grace. She's the normal spunky always getting into trouble 2 year old.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Since I had my phone updated I haven't been able to log in.  I hope everyone had a great Easter. Both of the girls had a good time. They both participated in a couple different Easter egg hunts, ate yummy food and relaxed.

We had a great time at the roller derby. There were ALOT of people supporting organ donation! We are going back to the next bout on May 5th. If you haven't been to one come check it out! You can get tickets at the civic center.

Gillian and Grace are both doing well. Thankfully Gillian was able to keep her allergy issues away for now. I'm sure they will come back with vengeance.  Really not much to report. Just wanted to say everyone is doing well. We are heading to the roller derby on Saturday and we are all excited for it.

Keep Gillian in you prayers as she is going to receive some hard news tonight from her grandpa. He's going to explain to her that he has cancer and the outcome. He bought a book to read about heaven and explaining the situation to kids. It breaks my heart that she and him are going through this. Gillian loves her grandpa very much.

Gillian's cough and allergies are a lot better. She only had to do a few breathing treatments. Keeping my fingers crossed it's cleared up for now. It must have been the mountain air. ;-)

Grace is Also doing better. She has been sleeping SO much better. We haven't had any major meltdowns in the middle of the night for a while. I probably just jinxed that.

Unless anything major happens I will update after Easter and the Decatur dames roller Derby. We are excited to be part of the audience AND especially grateful for the dames donating proceeds to donate life macon county. If your local and haven't bought tickets I believe they are still available at the Decatur civic center. The bout is April 7th at 7:00pm.

We Made it home from Gatlinburg, TN. The girls had an Awesome time visiting with family.

We split up our drive on the way there and drove  the entire 10hrs and 20min the way home.  The views were beautiful and the girls got to play mini golf a couple times. We checked out alot of local restaurants and shopping centers.

On our last day there we went to the Ripley's aquarium of Gatlinburg. Grace loved the walk through tunnel. Mike and I had a good time there also.

Gillian, of course had her allergies flare up while we were there. She got a pretty nasty cough and her eyes were always watering.  I think she's getting better though. All the tree's and flowers are blooming early this year.  My sinus' were getting the best of me on the trip also.

The girls had their every 3 months appointments in st. Louis yesterday and today. We drove down on Wednesday for Grace's apt., we went to the zoo and it was perfect. It actually got up to 87°! Grace is SO much more aware of her surroundings than last year. She fell in love with the gorillas, orangutans, penguins and butterfly house.

Grace's appoint went great! She is holding stable. Her creatnine is 1.9, but just hanging out there. We are sure she's going to last longer than her sister before transplant, just not sure how long. You would never know there was anything wrong with her looking at her.

Gillian had her apt. Today. Everything turned out great for her. Creatnine was 0.7, which is great! Our big thing with her is making sure she drinks enough for that kidney!

Mike and I would like to thank everyone who helped and attended the fundraiser today. Gillian loved seeing her friends and Grace is happy to run and play.

We ended up raising $3700.00, but we still have some donations dwindling in!

Thanks to all of my family for traveling to help, I know you had to be on the road super early. Also, thank you to all our local family and friends.

The day is about here! March 11, 11-30-2:30.

As you've probably noticed there's a chance for rain. Of course, we are hoping it holds off so we can use the bounce house. There isn't a lot of parking at the city hall gym. Please make sure you bring an umbrella just in case. Don't let the rain discourage you! There will be a lot of great things for the family.

A few things we will have at the event:

Clowns that facepaint and make balloon animals. They will be there after noon, because they are traveling from out of town.

We will have a cake walk. PLEASE AWARE US OF ANY PEANUT ALLERGIES. We do not want to give your little ones an item that contains any kind of peanuts.

We will have (depending on space) around 13 games. From duck pond for little ones to a spin wheel and nerf games! Prizes while supplies last!

The games are $3.00 to play and we will stamp you hands. The bounce house is $1.00 and you will receive a ticket to give to the person running it.

Food:

Can go back to school!!!!! Thank goodness. She has been going stir crazy at home. The nurse said she still had a couple spots in her lungs that were weezy, but nothing like it had been. Gillian goes back to school tomorrow on restrictions of no recess or PE. To much gets her coughing.

Grace sounded great! No more weezing. :-) now lets Just hope Mike and I can stay away from all the "ickiness" before the fundraiser on Sunday.

The girls pediatrician is on vacation this week, but the nurses are still in. we were supposed to go and have their chest listened to. They were sleeping so well and for other reasons I rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon. I think they are sounding 100 times better. Im going to talk to the nurse about Gillian Going back to school. I'm not sure if she'll OK it or not since the Dr. Isn't In the office.

They have appointments coming up in st. Louis on the 14&15. The way things have been going I hope we make it home. LOL. It seems like something always comes up and we end up staying or coming back. The down side. I am probably going by myself to the appointments. Its such a long 2 days I hate going by myself with both of the girls. They are usually pretty grumpy in the hotel, but then again when aren't they fighting!
